Event Description: The DCU Big Bang is a challenge focused on producing written works of 10k, or new this year, 5k, with accompanying fanworks. It’s open to any and all character or pairings that have to do with DC Comics, and we welcome Het/Slash/Fem-slash/Gen fic, whatever it is you write!

Schedule:
15 June: Author sign-ups close for 10k Traditional Big Bang (Artist/5k Mini-Bang sign-ups still open!!!)
15 July: Author sign-ups close for 5k Mini-Bang (Artist sign-ups still open!!!)
21 August: Author rough drafts due (At least 80% complete)
25 August noon (Mountain time): Claiming opens
1 September: Claims close; no more fanworker signups
1 October: Mandatory check-in for authors and artists; posting sign-ups open
15 October: Posting begins
18 November: Posting ends
