Event Description: The Marvel Bang is a challenge focused on producing written works of 10k, with accompanying fanworks. It’s open to any and all character or pairings that have to do with Marvel, and we welcome Het/Slash/Femslash/Gen fic, whatever it is you write!

1 May: Sign-ups open (author and accompanying fanworkers)
1 June: Author sign-ups close
1 July: Author check-in
1 August: Author check-in
21 August: Author rough drafts due (at least 80% complete)
23 August: Fic summaries go up for fanworkers to peruse
24 August noon eastern: Claiming opens
25 August 3PM eastern: Second claims open
1 September: Claims close; no more fanworker signups
1 October: Mandatory check-in for authors and artists; posting sign-ups open
15 October: Posting begins
18 November: Posting ends
